Ways to Give
With a gift to Wings, you can help adult survivors of childhood sexual abuse transcend trauma and lead their fullest, healthiest lives. From donating online to fundraising for us, there are many ways to contribute.
Need assistance or have questions? Contact our Development Manager, Kelly Connor, at kelly.connor@wingsfound.org or 303-238-8660 ext.112.
You can make a one-time or recurring monthly donation to Wings online here.
Prefer to send your donation by mail? Please make your check payable to Wings and mail to:
Wings
2000 S Colorado Blvd
Tower One, Suite 2000 – 1008
Denver, CO 80222
Making a gift in honor or memory of a loved one is a beautiful way to celebrate them. Whether in recognition of a milestone, in lieu of a traditional gift, or as a heartfelt memorial, your donation will provide hope & healing to adult survivors of childhood sexual abuse.
To make a gift in honor or in memory of a loved one, please donate online or by check and email Kelly the following:
- Honoree name
- Occasion (honorary or memorial)
- Email or mailing address of person(s) you would like notified of your gift
Peer-to-peer fundraising is a powerful way to make a difference by leveraging your network to support Wings’ mission. By becoming a fundraiser, you can rally your friends, family, and colleagues to join you in raising funds to support adult survivors.
To get started fundraising for Wings, you can contact Kelly to have a custom peer-to-peer fundraising page set up for you or you can create a fundraiser on Colorado Gives. Just click “Get started” and search for Wings Foundation, Inc. (EIN: 74-2424175).
You can also ask your friends to contribute by starting a Facebook fundraiser – many supporters like to do this for their birthdays!
Many companies will match gifts made to Wings. Some companies may also match volunteer hours. Each company has its own guidelines, and you can ask your Human Resources department if your company has a program. For help processing an employer matching gift, please contact Kelly.
If you are 70.5 or older, giving from your IRA helps reduce your taxable income. For those over 73 who must take a Required Minimum Distribution (RMD), an IRA gift is a simple way to fulfill it.
Information you’ll need to complete a QCD:
Legal name: Wings Foundation Inc.
Tax ID number: 74-2424175
Address: 2000 S Colorado Blvd Tower One, Suite 2000 – 1008 Denver, CO 80222
Every gift, no matter how large or small, helps build systems of support for adult survivors. Thank you for considering this smart giving option!
Please note: When you donate from your IRA, the distribution checks sometime arrive with limited or no donor information. To ensure we can acknowledge and thank you for your gift, please express your intention to make a QCD to Kelly.
Donating stocks or mutual funds allows you to avoid capital gains tax and often take a charitable deduction for the full value of the asset. To explore making a gift of stock to Wings, please contact Kelly.
When you include Wings in your estate plan, your generosity helps create a world where no adult survivor of childhood sexual abuse has to struggle alone. To start the conversation about making a planned gift to Wings, please contact Kelly.
Have you already included a gift to Wings in your will or trust? Please let us know. We would love to thank you for your generosity.
While Wings doesn’t have a regular volunteer program, we occasionally have opportunities where your time, talent, and skills can make a real difference. This includes special events, projects, and campaigns. If you’re interested in getting involved, please fill out the contact form on our website. We’ll get in touch to learn more about you and how you can help advance our work.
