Childhood Sexual Abuse Prevention Efforts
Healing from childhood sexual abuse is not an easy process. Many survivors find the courage to come forward about their pasts not just for themselves, but also because they want to keep other children safe.
Learning how to prevent childhood sexual abuse and to identify it if you should encounter signs of possible abuse is one way to take meaningful action in the broader effort to stop childhood sexual abuse from happening and create a world where those impacted can heal.
“When I think about prevention, it’s often a circle that there are lots of places where people can enter into that circle of prevention and be a part of that circle.”
